WHY OUR APPROACH WORKS

There is no magic formula or simple set of steps that can remove all of the barriers to educator wellness. This is why Beam works through the framework of self, community and systems. We must approach the barriers from multiple places and with multiple strategies. 

The work and philosophy of Beam Pedagogy is grounded in the idea that both art and science are necessary pieces of educator wellness. Below you will find resources and research that support these ideas. As we continue to learn and grow, this list will evolve.
